I have been photographing different recurring activities and events for many years. It is the variety of these passions that pique my curiosity as to what motivates different cultures and age groups. Some of these events have been historical re-enactments such as: Washington Crossing the Delaware, The Battle of Gettysburg, contests involving frog-jumping, and stickball championships. I have also photographed amateur rocket launching clubs, World Youth Day, the Hill Comorah Pageant-a Mormon re-enactment-a twins convention, and a hobo convention to name some. These are selections from those events.
