Since 2000 I have been photographing different activities and events that people are involved in. These pursuits occur on a recurring basis and involve a variety of interests. It is the variety of these passions the pique my curiosity as to what motivates different cultures and age groups. Some of these events have been historical reenactments such as: Washington Crossing the Delaware, The Battle of Gettysburg, contests involving frog-jumping, and stickball championships. I have also photographed amateur rocket launching clubs, World Youth Day, the Hill Comorah Pageant-a Mormon reenactment-a twins convention, and a hobo convention to name some. These are selections from those events.
