Every September my friends and I would get on our bikes and ride to all of the car dealerships to see the new models. We dreamed of when our bikes would cease being our primary transportation and the magic day of getting our licenses would finally arrive. The marketing of automobiles has shifted from displaying the basic opportunity that the invention offered; to one of lifestyle, freedom, and prestige. I've noticed that in the past decade or so, that the design of showrooms has become incredibly more sophisticated and alluring in its design. The automobiles are presented almost in a religious context where the architectural presentation appears as a shrine/cathedral. What's Life Without Goals? is a continuing documentation of these structures.
